The First Sunday Post

Having got my third molar removed, there is not much to do for me on a weekend. This, in contrast to most others I know of who took advantage of a great and long weekend. So yours truly has been sitting at home all day long, unable to talk to friends and family and learning the subtle ways of the sign language.

My third molar or Wisdom Tooth as laymen would be aware of - came in the wrong way and was pushing my other teeth from under the gum. So yours truly had to undergo surgery to split the gums and get the tooth removed. All this is fine - what touched literally a raw nerve was that my consulting dental surgeon was a true blue Sardar who rides a bike for good measure. Sir, in true ancestral tradition, worked on my tooth as his brethren may have worked on a broken down truck on the highway! So after that pulling and wayward tugging, I was barely breathing.

The flip side is of course was getting to eat all the ice cream one could dream of and with the full consent of family :) What was also encouraging was getting an official warning to stop all vices ;)

Having being suitably inspired by fellow office bard - Agnelo Cardos I have turned to a long internalised hobby - writing poetry. And though the humorous poems about office can't be shared here is one which is personal. So please do leave your comments on the same.

Here is looking forward to a hopefully fruitful working week! Chao
